Colton William Ledbetter, 22, was born on August 25, 2000 in Modesto, California, to Steve and Renee Ledbetter, of Ceres. He has three older sisters – Amy Medina, Heather Ledbetter and Jordan Ledbetter-Silva. Colton attended Ceres schools and graduated from Central Valley High School in Ceres in 2018.

Currently, Colton is the Clubhouse Manager for the Modesto Nuts, a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.  He is also a California licensed Realtor® and serves as Vice President of Commercial Leasing for his family’s business, Ledbetter & Associates, Inc. | EXIT Realty Consultants.

Colton made his racing debut in 2020, under the guidance of Mike Creevan, of Creevan Motorsports, and Colton’s father, Steve Ledbetter, a former sprint car legend.

Steve Ledbetter raced for over 20 years in the Open Wheel circuit progressing from Mini Sprints up to full winged Sprints and non-winged Midgets. As a Mini Sprint driver in 1987, Steve held the No. 1 position in the nation while racing at Stockton’s Delta Speedway.

A life-long passion for racing runs in the Ledbetter blood. As a child. Colton wore out videos of watching his Dad race, but was never able to watch him race in person. After Colton’s birth, following a devastating crash, his Dad hung up his racing suit, only for it to be worn again by his son 20 years later.

Carrying on the family tradition of racing has been Colton’s lifelong dream. At the end of his first season driving for Creevan Motorsports, it was declared Colton was a natural for racing and his folks purchased the car from owner Mike Creevan. During the ongoing pandemic in 2021, Steve disassembled the car and rebuilt it from the ground up, using the team’s traditional colors of white, blue, black and silver.
